Welcome Responsible Voters

This website is dedicated to the idea that the current environment in our country precludes the inclusion of morality in the debate of public issues. Our constitution does not guarantee "freedom from religion" or even "separation of church and state". Rather the first article of the Bill of Righs, that is the first amendment was meant to guarentee two basic freedoms:

  • Freedom from the establishment of a state run church.
In most of the countries from which the framers of the constitution came you were required to belong to one faith or you would be severely punished. At the national level, they did not want this to happen.
  • Free Exercise of Religion
This is a constitutional guarantee not to just believe the tenets of a faith but to publicly exercise these beliefs. Laws which curtail this right go against the constitution and should not be used to silence pastors or their flocks.

Occasionally, we will dedicate the entire website to an issue which we feel goes against this and other constitutional rights. Many of these will not be "popular". We are not called to be popular. Many will go against "popular wisdom". The ellitists who determine the content of "popular wisdom" have little faith and often express contempt for the opinions of common people. Many will not be "politically correct". Labeling something "politically incorrect" is a common form of censorship.

If you would like to be notified about important issues, please leave a comment to that effect. All comments are welcome. Abusive comments are quickly deleted, their hateful spirit is recognized and they are forgotten.
